Illinois
boasts of thousands of great fraternalists. The Illinois Fraternal
Alliance Fraternalist of the Year Program was designed to honor
these individuals for going above and beyond to help others and
their communities.
The
IFA is seeking one extraordinary candidate from each fraternal benefit
society to be recognized at the Illinois Fraternal Alliance Annual
Meeting.
Here’s
how you can help recognize members of your society:

|
Select
your society’s Illinois Fraternalist of the Year. Any fraternally
active member – youth or adult – is eligible. |

In
late February, a committee will work with a representative from
your society and your award winner to arrange details for the award
presentation at the annual meeting.
Each
Society’s fraternalist will receive a plaque and a $50 donation
to the charity of her/his choice.
Guidelines:
|
 |
Submissions
are due by Feb. 15, 2011 (those not submitted by Feb. 15 will not
receive a plaque). |
 |
Each
Society’s honoree must attend the award presentation, along with a
representative from the Society to present the award. Honorees not
in attendance will receive a certificate via mail. |
 |
Each
society can nominate only one fraternalist for the honor. |
 |
The
responsibility for banquet meals, travel costs, and similar incidental
expenses will be the responsibility of the award winner and/or the
fraternal benefit society. |
We look forward to recognizing the important accomplishments of Illinois’
greatest grassroots fraternalists. |
